Dogfish Head_Blend

Head_Blend is a brew drawing on influences from many styles. A sort of "American Dry Stout", brewed with deep roasted malts to lend notes of cocoa and espresso with a deep black hue. It was then hopped liberally in the kettle with a heady blend of some of Pacific Northwest's finest hop varieties, dry hopped in the tank with a blend of Simcoe and Citra, and then largely fermented with a true German lager yeast.
