Self Defence

This New England Pale Ale is inspired by the namesake sketch by Monty Python. Silky and fragrant, a bit dank, it is dry hopped with Mosaic and Equanot. The malt base mild and softened with a dash of lactose. It has ripe tropical fruit, peaches, pineapple and citrus on the nose and on the palate, with a hint of panna cotta and ice-cream and a clean long finish with delicate bitterness. The first batch of Self Defence is showing us the hops and the malts defending themselves from the fresh pineapple.
